DRC Tal Morrison Classic 15K/5K

Online registration is closed. Race day registration will be available from 7:00 to 7:45 AM at Winfrey Point.

Presented by the Dallas Running Club

Named after the founder of the Dallas Running Club and the White Rock Marathon, the Tal Morrison Classic 15K/5K race provides the setting for the presentation ceremonies of the Scholars on the Run Scholarships by the Tal Morrison Scholarship Fund.  These are scholarships that are donated by the Dallas running community, with the vast majority of the donation via the DRC Half Marathon and the remainder coming from individual donations by participants in DRC activities / events.

Scholarship recipients will be DISD high school seniors who are participants in their high school cross country programs and who have demonstrated abilities to achieve academically.  Applicants are recommended by their cross country coaches and their academic counselors.  Their applications are judged by the Board of Directors of the Tal Morrison Scholarship Fund, Inc., a charitable non-profit organization supported by tax deductible donations.
